Ha Kim Tung, a DTU student said: “At first, I felt a bit nervous as I’ve never taken part in the contest before. Under the guidance of our advisor and, after observing the presentation of the other teams, I presented our thesis confidently. The Smart Box was evaluated highly by the judges. I was so happy to take part in the contest which will be very useful in my studies”.

Dr, Ha Dac Binh, from the DTU Center for Research and Development said: “Most DTU contestants are second-year students, while their competitors are in their final year, with broad knowledge and experience. However, the practical skills, English proficiency and the competitive spirit of the DTU teams were as strong as the others. With their hard works, DTU won the consolation prize for at their first appearance in the contest”.

With their experience in the 2013 TI MCU Contest, the DTU teams had the opportunity to broaden their knowledge, improve their English and gain more confidence for future achievements.
