Graduation Ceremony for Students of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities

A formal graduation ceremony was held on the 11th of January, 2011 for DTU students from the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities majoring in International Relations. In attendance were Dr. Le Duc Toan, DTU Vice-Rector, the Dean of the Faculty, the forty-two new graduates, their parents and fellow students.

According to Mr.Nguyen Vu Minh, the Dean, between 2007 and 2011, three students have graduated with excellent grades, twenty-three with good grades and sixteen with average results. Ms Duong Thu Hien was commended as the most outstanding student.

Mr.Nguyen Vu Minh Tri congratulated the K13 students on their results. He said: ”After you graduate and make your way into the world, I hope you will always remember DTU and learn even more to contribute to the development of our country. I wish you good fortune and success in your lives”

In reply to these kind remarks, a representative of students’ parents said: "On behalf for our students, I would like to take this opportunity to express our deep gratitude to Duy Tan University and our faculty. During these four years we have matured and become good citizens, thanks to our teachers at DTU. This gives us the confidence to go out into the world and carry the DTU spirit and our skills into our jobs with us.”

At the end of the ceremony much joy and happiness was shared by the graduates and their families. Holding bright bunches of flowers, with praise from all, each student nurtured their individual dreams and ambitions for the future.
