On December 20, DTU signed an MoU on establishing the "HEISEI-VJIET Skillslab" architectural project with the Heisei Corporation from Japan. Mr. Nishihara Kanto, Director of the Heisei Corporation; Mr. Nguyen Huu Quy, Director of MTV Quy Khanh Consulting & Training Company; Architect Le Vinh An, Director of the DTU Vietnam-Japan Institute of Technology; and lecturers of Architecture attended.

On May 4th, Heisei Corporation in Japan donated DTU a lab equipped with 40 high-configuration computers as part of the "Heisei-VJIET Skillslab" project for Architecture students.
