On the morning of August 22, DTU and FPT Software Central Vietnam (FSoft) held the opening ceremony for the 2nd cohort of the "Japanese Bridge Software Engineering" (JS) program. This program follows the success of the first cohort in 2024 and aims to create exciting career opportunities in Japan for graduates immediately after completing their studies.

The "Japanese Bridge Software Engineering" program not only strengthens specialized knowledge but also focuses on developing language skills, particularly in Japanese. DTU students participating in this program will study Japanese in parallel with their Information Technology major courses. This well-rounded approach enables students to build strong technical expertise while also mastering Japanese communication skills, a key factor for working at leading technology companies in Japan.

Throughout their studies, the students will gain hands-on experience at FPT Software through FRESHER training and internship programs. This is a valuable opportunity for them to sharpen their skills in a professional environment while also receiving direct support for their graduation projects from the company. Upon completion, outstanding students will be offered the chance to work onsite or study in Japan, further expanding their international career opportunities.

A highlight of the program was the awarding of high-value scholarships to exceptional students. Those selected for the program will not only receive advanced training in technology and Japanese but also have the chance to earn scholarships worth tens of millions of VND. This is part of the program's strategy to provide high-quality human resources for the Information Technology and Software Engineering sectors, ensuring that students are not only skilled in their field but also have a language advantage.

At the opening ceremony, representatives from FPT Software Central Vietnam awarded entrance scholarships to three outstanding DTU students:

- Ngo Hoang Anh, with a GPA of 3.74,
- Pham Chi Khanh, with a GPA of 3.65, and
- Huynh Thien Phat, with a GPA of 3.65.

Through this program, DTU and FPT Software Central Vietnam aim not only to provide students with a solid foundation of knowledge but also to equip them with the skills needed to thrive in the international workforce.
Student Ngo Hoang Anh shared: "I am truly thrilled and proud to have received this scholarship and to become part of the 'Japanese Bridge Software Engineering' training program. This is an incredible opportunity that not only helps me strengthen my professional knowledge but also opens up great possibilities for building my career in Japan - the Land of Cherry Blossoms. I believe this program will help me and my fellow recipients advance our technological skills and develop the ability to communicate in Japanese, making it easier for us to adapt to the professional and dynamic work environment at leading technology companies in Japan. I want to thank DTU and FPT Software Central Vietnam for working together to bring us this opportunity, and I will do my best to grow personally and contribute to the overall success of the program."
