On May 29, 2025, DTU paid a visit to and worked with Kim Long Motor, one of the leading enterprises in the field of: Manufacturing automotive parts and accessories; Assembling and trading automobiles; and Industrial park infrastructure business in Vietnam. The meeting marked an important step in establishing a comprehensive partnership between the university and the business, aiming to develop high-quality human resources to meet the practical needs of the automotive industry.

Kim Long Motor is the investor behind the Kim Long Motor Automotive Manufacturing and Assembly Industrial Park project, covering over 600 hectares. The project includes factories for automotive manufacturing and assembly, machinery, engine manufacturing, transmission systems, and components, along with a bonded warehouse and plans for semiconductor technology development to serve the domestic and international automotive industry. Kim Long Motor is committed to leading the market in terms of quality and production volume for internal combustion engine vehicles and new energy vehicles, such as electric buses and trucks, with a focus on exports.
At the meeting, representatives from DTU and Kim Long Motor discussed and agreed on several practical cooperation points. One of the key highlights was creating favorable conditions for DTU students to participate in internships and training directly at the Kim Long Motor plant. This is a valuable opportunity for students to engage in a real working environment, hone their professional skills, and enhance their career experience.

In addition, Kim Long Motor has committed to sending experts to participate in teaching and organizing specialized seminars on automotive engineering and mechanics as suggested by DTU. This support helps improve the quality of training, enabling students to not only master theoretical knowledge but also gain a deeper understanding of practical applications in the industry. Furthermore, Kim Long Motor will prioritize recruiting DTU graduates and collaborate in organizing career fairs and conducting direct recruitment interviews at the university. The company will also invite experts to participate in graduation evaluation boards to select candidates who best meet the professional and corporate cultural requirements.
With nearly 600 job positions to fill in the next three years, Kim Long Motor considers partnering with prestigious educational institutions a key strategy for attracting and developing high-quality human resources. This partnership provides DTU students with an opportunity to access the practical side of the automotive industry while still studying, as well as offering job opportunities for students passionate about and eager to grow within the automotive industry.
