In order to give students a more realistic perspective on the labor market, provide clearer career guidance, and offer opportunities for internships and employment upon graduation, DTU joined hands with New Hope Binh Phuoc Livestock LLC to hold an exchange and recruitment event for third- and fourth-year students from the Faculties of Chinese and of Environmental & Natural Sciences at its 120 Hoang Minh Thao campus on the morning of April 9, 2025.

A large number of DTU students attended the recruitment event
New Hope Binh Phuoc was represented by Overseas General Director Mr Li Qiang, who personally shared his insights and interacted with the students. Also in attendance were the leadership of the university’s Office of Business Cooperation, the School of Languages, Humanities, & Social Sciences (LHSS), and both departments, as well as lecturers.
During the event, the students were introduced to the development, corporate culture, and high-tech livestock farming model of New Hope Liuhe corp., as well as to New Hope Binh Phuoc Livestock LLC, a strategic investment project by New Hope Liuhe in Vietnam.

The students also learned about the working conditions, the attractive monthly salaries ranging from 10 to 20 million VND, the welfare policies, and modern living arrangements that the company gives its employees, such as: social insurance based on actual salary, full coverage of housing and meals, free personal supplies, and fully furnished accommodation (washing machine, AC, hot water, Wi-Fi, and canteen), in addition to frequent entertainment and physical exercise activities for employees.
A highlight of the event was a special discussion session titled “Foreign Language & Careers”, where students could discuss and ask questions about disciplines, application skills, job interviews, and professional development. The students could also register for internships and participate in in-person job interviews during the event.

Founded in 1982, New Hope Liuhe was one of China’s first private companies. Until 1998, the corporation was officially listed on the stock exchange, and it began expanding internationally in 1999, with Vietnam as its first overseas market. After several phases of restructuring and growth, New Hope Liuhe began accelerating its global investment in 2016 and established itself as a world leader in pig farming.
Today, New Hope Liuhe is a top poultry supplier, a leading pig farming company, and a major producer of animal feed - number one in China and number three of the world. The corporation operates a closed loop supply chain, from global raw material sourcing, feed production, and animal breeding to modern food processing, with a focus on sustainable and safe agricultural development.
In Vietnam, New Hope Liuhe has operations in eleven provinces and cities. New Hope Binh Phuoc is their key pig farming project and serves as a cornerstone for the group’s long-term investment strategy in Southeast Asia.

Leaders from both organizations
Through the event, the DTU students gained real-world exposure to a modern foreign enterprise, and they had the chance to demonstrate their capabilities and seek job opportunities aligned with their majors — particularly in Chinese language, environmental sciences, and natural sciences. The event also exemplifies the strong partnership between the university and the business world in training and developing a high-quality workforce for a variety of sectors.
