On March 12, 2025, QS released its global university rankings by five broad subject areas, featuring 55 individual subjects. Vietnamese universities appeared in 25 out of 55 individual subjects, with three universities in the top 100. This year's QS rankings by subject are based on data from approximately 1,700 institutions across more than 100 countries and territories. QS is one of the three leading ranking organizations globally, alongside THE (Times Higher Education) and ARWU (Shanghai Ranking).
