The EAI Endorsed Transactions on Tourism, Technology and Intelligence (TTI) journal by Duy Tan University was officially launched on November 8, 2024. This interdisciplinary scientific research journal aims to advance theoretical and applied research in the tourism industry by bridging the fields of Tourism, Technology, and Artificial Intelligence. It contributes to promoting in-depth research and the application of modern technology in the management and development of the tourism industry in Vietnam and worldwide.

DTU presented gifts to the guests
This is an open-source material for staying updated on the latest technology trends, from big data analytics to automation and artificial intelligence, contributing to the development of smart and sustainable tourism practices. The journal provides in-depth research on the impact of technology on the tourism industry, as well as new strategies and technologies to help the sector recover robustly after the COVID-19 pandemic.
At the same time, as AI and other breakthrough technologies like quantum mechanics open up new possibilities in network management and complex system development, pioneering research on "Quantum Tourism" is also expected to present many potential solutions and applications in travel planning, security, remote tourism, enhanced exploration, and architectural design - laying the groundwork for new breakthroughs in this field.
Duy Tan University's TTI journal also aims to create a scientific forum connecting the tourism sector with fields like Technology, Engineering, Hospitality Management, Policy, and Planning to foster research development and practical applications in the era of Industry 5.0. As part of the event, the forum entitled “The Future of Artificial Intelligence & Technology in Tourism and Hospitality Training” provided attendees with valuable insights, exemplary cases of Artificial Intelligence applications in the tourism industry. Representatives from Sheraton Saigon Hotel & Towers, Hoi An Express Travel, Hoi An Wanderlust Tours, Duy Tan University, and others were in attendance.

Among business functions, Marketing is perhaps the field that benefits the most from Artificial Intelligence, with advantages like enhancing customer experience, optimizing segmentation and targeting, and providing personalized services.
When integrating AI into tourism education, we face the challenge of preparing students to adapt to the future labor market, improving research outcomes, and enhancing operational efficiency. Today’s forum serves as a platform for experts, scholars, and industry leaders to discuss how Artificial Intelligence can improve all aspects of the tourism sector”.
