“Digital Transformation Trends in Architecture and Interior Design” Talkshow

On October 2, 2024, the DTU Faculty of Architecture, YEGA Vietnam and Flexfit jointly held a talkshow entitled: “Digital Transformation Trends in Architecture and Interior Design.” The event provided students with valuable insights into the development of the architecture field in the digital age, as well as the essential skills needed to stay updated with trends and meet future job demands.

At the talk show, students were excited to meet with two distinguished speakers from YEGA Vietnam and Flexfit who shared the latest updates on the application of digital technology in architectural and interior design, including the use of 3D simulation software and the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) in the design process.

 

Ms. Vu Kim Phuong, Head of Business Development at YEGA Vietnam, emphasized: "We are living in an era where digital technology is advancing at an astonishing pace, and the architecture industry is no exception to this trend. Digital transformation is no longer an unfamiliar concept but has become an essential element in architecture. Technology not only helps optimize work processes but also improves the quality of design, enabling us to better meet client needs. I hope the knowledge shared today will encourage the students to confidently explore and apply technology in your design careers."

Following Ms. Phuong's presentation, Deputy Director of Flexfit JSC Ms. Ha Kim Thuy emphasized the critical role of digital transformation in enhancing creativity, improving work efficiency, and elevating the customer experience. She also provided real-life examples from projects successfully applied digital technology, encouraging students to develop technological skills, an increasingly important factor in the fields of architecture and interior design.


The talk show was not only an opportunity for students to network and learn but also a chance to ask questions and receive valuable advice from leading experts.

As part of the program, the DTU Faculty of Architecture, YEGA Vietnam and Flexfit, signed an MoU.  This partnership aims to ensure long-term support in the training, offering opportunities for internships, employment, and career guidance in the future.

 

The “Digital Transformation Trends in Architecture and Interior Design” talkshow concluded successfully. It not only enhanced students' knowledge of digital transformation trends but also marked a significant step forward in strengthening connections between the university and businesses. This serves as a solid foundation to equip students with additional knowledge, digital skills, and open up many career opportunities in the promising fields of architecture and interior design.
