After six years of study and practice, the first 60 students in the Dentistry program officially received their diplomas from DTU.

A Generation Embarks on a New Journey
In this inaugural graduating class, the Dentistry program at DTU had 14 students achieving excellence and 37 students achieving distinction out of a total of 60 students. This result not only affirms the efforts and dedication of the first cohort but also recognizes the committed support of the faculty in the Medical and Pharmaceutical fields.

Among the many exceptional and dynamic students in the Dentistry program, Phan Ngoc Huyen stands out as a model of study spirit and active participation in extracurricular activities. Huyen is one of the prominent students of the K-24 cohort, achieving an overall average of 3.72/4 and an excellent training score. In addition to her high academic performance, she actively participated in many extracurricular activities such as Green Summer, Love Christmas, and Traditional Sports Day.
Huyen shared, "Becoming a doctor is truly a dream for me and certainly for many young people who wish to work in the healthcare field. My six years at Duy Tan University were filled with many emotions: joy, sadness, happiness, and pride. Those feelings have shaped me into a more mature and resilient person. Now, I feel ready to move forward on the path of developing my career as a doctor."
Among the new dentists graduating this time, the top graduate Tran Gia Bao stood out with excellent academic results and active participation in various student activities. Throughout his six years of study, he maintained a strong performance and graduated with a GPA of 3.77/4.0.
Tran Gia Bao and his research team conducted a project on "Creating Suturing Models for Surgical Practice." Thanks to the creativity and practical application of this project, Gia Bao received numerous prestigious awards.
In addition to his serious study hours, Tran Gia Bao was also an active member participating in student union activities and received the title of "Outstanding Five Good Student" in Da Nang for the 2022-2023 academic year.

A Quality Education Program
During their studies, students in the Dentistry program were taught by highly qualified instructors. These include professors, associate professors, doctors, and specialized pharmacists with rich experience, graduating from many prestigious universities both domestically and internationally.
Studying alongside a reputable faculty, students in the Dentistry program at DTU acquired the latest specialized knowledge.
Throughout their education, DTU students always practiced with modern equipment located at Room F, 120 Hoang Minh Thao, Hoa Khanh Nam Ward, Lien Chieu District, Da Nang. Here, the university is fully equipped with all necessary dental tools and equipment.
In terms of collaboration with healthcare facilities, DTU has signed partnerships with hospitals, providing students ample opportunities for clinical practice with patients.

Alongside theoretical studies, students in the Dentistry program also accompanied faculty and doctors both inside and outside the university to remote areas, sponsored by social organizations, to provide free dental care to the community over the years.
The journey of faculty and students in the Dentistry program at DTU is meaningful as it has provided dental care opportunities for children and residents in many disadvantaged mountainous regions, such as Ba Primary School (Dong Giang, Quang Nam), ethnic minority communities in BhaLeê (Tay Giang, Quang Nam), and children in Hope Village (Da Nang)... as well as providing free dental care for students across Da Nang right at DTU.
Having officially completed a challenging yet meaningful educational journey, the graduates of the DTU Dentistry program confidently embark on a new journey to contribute to healthcare, dental care, and improving oral health for the community.
