Vuong Thi Linh Kieu, who became orphan after Typhoon Chanchu, has been awarded a full scholarship worth more than 132 million VND by DTU.

On September 30, DTU representative presented a full scholarship to new student Vuong Thi Linh Kieu, who studies Logistics and Supply Chain Management at the university.
The university representative said that after learning about Vuong Thi Linh Kieu's circumstance through Tuoi Tre newspaper, the DTU provost had decided to grant this new student of K30 course a full scholarship. Accordingly, the full scholarship for the entire course is worth over 132 million VND, covering 8 semesters.
"Moved by Linh Kieu's story of resilience, the Provost decides to award her the scholarship so that she can continue her higher education without worrying about financial burdens," the university representative shared.
Receiving the scholarship, Linh Kieu’s expressed her surprise and promised to work hard and overcome challenges to maintain the scholarship throughout her time at the university.
"Now that I've received this full scholarship, I no longer have to worry about tuition fees. I'm saving the 15 million VND scholarship from the "Support to School" scholarship program to cover living expenses and buy a bike." Linh Kieu said.
