Three students from Laos and the Philippines graduating from DTU have had the chance to engage in international exchanges and hone their knowledge and practical skills, thanks to the university's resources.
These students were part of the Talent Program (or High Performance) at the DTU Sao Khue Management Institute (SMi). Among them, Frances Summer Dale V. Dy from the Philippines studied Marketing Management and Strategy. Throughout her time at DTU, she consistently achieved excellent academic results and actively participated in extracurricular activities.
Summer achieved notable accolades, including the Grand Prize at the 2021 Global Leader Competition with the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals. She also won first place in the 2024 DTU English Debate Competition.

Summer shared that she decided to study at DTU because her mother used to work there. Her mother highly appreciated the environment and quality of education at the university. Summer is confident in her choice, having made many close friends and studied with dedicated teachers.
After graduation, Summer aspires to work in the field of marketing and communications. She is currently seeking job opportunities in both Vietnam and the Philippines.
“I intend to pursue a Master's degree in Business Administration at DTU because I have great confidence in the quality of education and love the learning environment and the faculty here," Summer added.
Also, DTU awarded diploma to Xaisomphou Khaikeo from Laos. Xaisomphou Khaikeo had spent a lot of time researching a learning environment that suited her. After discovering that DTU in Vietnam holds a high ranking in the QS Rankings and Times Higher Education (THE), she decided to enroll and study there.
Upon receiving her bachelor's degree in Financial Management, Khaikeo expressed her desire to return to her homeland and pursue a career in the banking industry.

According to Khaikeo, a job in this field offers her a stable income and aligns well with her studies. Khaikeo aims to apply the knowledge and skills she accumulated at DTU to her work, contributing to the development of Laos.
"For me, DTU is my 'second family.' Attending classes, participating in group study learning how to cook and enjoy delicious meals with my teachers and friends are beautiful and unforgettable memories," Khaikeo shared
The most meaningful time during Khaikeo's studies in Vietnam was her internship. She and her peers experienced working environments at businesses, learning many valuable lessons and applying theoretical knowledge to practical tasks.
Similarly, Manyvong Xaysit found the learning environment at DTU to be dynamic and creative. After four years of studying Business Administration, he was pleased to study in a friendly environment with modern, well-equipped facilities.
After receiving his degree, Xaysit plans to return to Laos. He dreams of becoming a business manager and working at a multinational company or starting his own projects.
According to Xaysit, the knowledge and skills acquiring at DTU provided him a solid foundation that would help him achieve significant success in future. "Management and leadership skills, along with practical experience from projects and extracurricular activities, are invaluable 'assistants' that will help me excel in my work and achieve my goals," Xaysit added.

During his time here, he participated in the 2023 Vietnamese Speaking Contest for international students in Central Vietnam and won a third place. He also had the opportunity to meet international friends and gain a deeper understanding of Vietnamese culture.
"All of these experiences have become an important part of my vibrant student life at DTU” Xaysit added.
