Many 2023 DTU applicants have confidently selected the university for their studies, thanks to a high-quality education that meets international standards and a wide selection of potential career opportunities.
Nguyen Thi Xuan Nhi is a new DTU Troy Computer Science student and scored 26.37/30 points in subject set D01 in her HSGE. She comes from a farming family in Quang Nam and was an outstanding student at the Hoang Dieu high school there. Xuan Nhi won a Consolation Prize in the provincial skilled-student contest in Literature in 12th grade and was admitted to her first choice of program at DTU.

Xuan Nhi said: “My brother is a DTU alumnus in IT and is currently an executive at Paradox Vietnam, with a high income and excellent promotional prospects. He is my family role model. I aspire to follow in his footsteps professionally, so I applied for the Troy program in Computer Science as my prime objective. I was fortunate because the university actually showed me its consideration by awarding me a full scholarship on admission.”
Nguyen Thi Kim Chi is a new Business Administration (Keuka) student at DTU and scored 26.33/30 points. She attended Hoang Dieu high school in Quang Nam, is strong academically but also very talented in singing, dancing, and hosting events. The dynamic and modern university environment at DTU opens the door for Kim Chi to unleash her full potential.

“I first heard about DTU from good friends who studied there and I then conducted my own research,” she explained. “The modern facilities, lecturers, international programs and extracurricular activities allow us to develop comprehensively throughout our studies. I am delighted that the university consistently awards scholarships to motivate us and relieve the economic burden on our families.”
Nguyen Minh Quang was admitted to the Troy Computer Science program with 26.3/30 points, with 9.6 in English. He comes from an intellectual family, his father is a university lecturer and his mother a civil servant. He inherited many good qualities from his parents and was instilled with self-discipline in learning from an early age. Living up to his family’s expectations, Minh Quang maintained the title of skilled student for 12 years consecutively and received a scholarship from DTU.

“My dream is to become a professional programmer, so my goal was to enter the Troy program in Computer Science at DTU,” Minh Quang explained. “Programming is a field with strong potential career opportunities, so I’ve been doing my best and working hard nonstop. I’m quite confident of my choice of university and my major, because I discovered that the education and facilities at DTU meet all my requirements. I also heard about the variety of contests that the university organizes and admire the success of the DTU IT students. At DTU, I’ll strive to improve my English even more and broaden my knowledge in IT to realize my ambitions.”
Han Gia Bao is a new PSU-standard Tourism & Hospitality Management student, with a score of 26.96/30 points in block C00, including a near-perfect score of 9.75 in History, and was a student at the Tho Xuan 5 high school in Thanh Hoa.

As a member of Generation Z who wants to work in Hospitality, Gia Bao explains: “The DTU Hospitality & Tourism Institute cooperates with and receives advanced international education programs from Penn State University in the US. DTU also works with major tourism companies in Danang to provide study, internships, and job opportunities for us. The DTU environment, modern facilities, and prestigious training quality will definitely give me much invaluable experience during my studies and open up appropriate job opportunities for me later.”
Nguyen Bao Long, a new DTU Troy Computer Science student, attended the Nguyen Hue high school in Thua Thien in Hue, scored 26.23/30 points, and is determined to conquer his major career goals to become a member of the IT community. He started by clearly outlining his goals term by term, choosing appropriate study and reaching each small milestone, step by step.
“I looked into the Troy program and realized that, to pursue this major, I needed a solid grasp of English first,” explained Bao Long. “The program is taught completely in English, with American lecturers from Troy University and elsewhere. At high school, I always prioritized learning English in addition to my favorite subjects, like math and physics. Now I’m fully confident that I can pursue the Troy program and achieve my personal goals.”

Working hard all day and night gets good grades, but everyone must find their own balance and Bao Long has a specific plan to combine work and play. That is how he actually achieved such a high HSGE score without missing a get-together with friends on the same day.
“My family and were overjoyed that I was accepted for the Troy program in Computer Science with a full DTU scholarship,” explained Bao Long. “This is the beginning of a new journey of learning for me and the scholarship will make me more self-confident in moving ahead. I hope that my studies in the advanced international program at DTU will meet my future career objectives.”
