DTU ADP Graduates Hired by Big Local Companies

On November 19th, DTU held a graduation ceremony for 23 new Keuka College graduates of Business Administration, in recognition of their four hard years of study. Many of those students had won prestigious awards at national and international competitions, have outstanding English skills and have been quickly employed in excellent new jobs.
 
On behalf of DTU, Professor Lim Sang Taek, DTU Vice-Provost and Rector of DTU International School, welcomed Professor Albert Joseph, a Keuka College lecturer; Associate Professor Gary Giss, Keuka Dean of International Programs in Southeast Asia.

Professor Lim Sang Taek
 
Professor Lim Sang Taek said: "To arrive where you are today, you have experienced a memorable journey, from setting your objectives in the few first days, and then dedicating yourselves to achieving them. You should always be proud that you are a Keuka College student with four years of study at DTU. Always smile broadly when you reflect on the success you built with your own determination."
 
"Over the years, this ceremony has been an extremely important event for you, your lecturers, DTU and Keuka College, because our ultimate goal is for all of to graduate.”, said Associate Professor Gary Giss. “On behalf of the Keuka College lecturers, I wish you great success in your careers and lives. I’m proud of you and Keuka College is proud of you! Go ahead and do remarkable things for yourselves, for Vietnam and for the world! Leave your mark and make our planet a better place.”

Le Thi Thu Ngan receives flowers 
 
Many of the 23 new Keuka College graduates have won big prizes in important competitions, including: 
 
- Le Thi Thu Ngan: Scored 28.5 points in the 2017 National High School Exam, became a DTU Valedictorian and already works for Docorp. Thu Ngan won third prize at the 2020 National Startup competition; a second at the 2019 “Danang Creative Startup Ideas Fair”; a second at the "Seeding Your Idea" contest, sponsored by Vintech and BSSC. She was ranked in top five in the national finals of the 2019 Go-Green-In-The-City contest, sponsored by Schneider Electric; and was a Student of Five Merits at Central level. She was the only delegate from Danang to participate in the 6th  National Youth congress, following Uncle Ho's 2020 precept. 
 
- Phan Van Thinh: Won third prize at the 2020 Entrepreneurship Festival; second prize at the "Seeding Your Idea" contest, run by Vintech and BSSC in 2019; a second at the 2019 “Danang Creative Startup Ideas Fair; and was ranked in the top 6 Hult Prize SEA 2021 finals.

DTU launched four-year degree Business Administration courses with Keuka College, and Danang-based students graduate with American-standard degrees. The courses are taught entirely in English, 70% by professors from Keuka College and the remainder by Vietnamese and other foreign lecturers from DTU and provide an internationally recognized education, with optimized tuition fees.
 
Keuka College, in New York State, was founded in 1890 and accredited at the regional Mid-State higher education level in recognition of its comprehensive, high-quality programs and experienced lecturers. There are 31 Bachelor and 10 Masters and PhD degree programs, and the university is ranked 121st in the US.

Le Thi Thu Ngan, a new Business Administration graduate, said: "Today, we have the right to be proud that we have persevered and achieved the first great success in our lives. On behalf of the new Business Administration graduates, I want to express our gratitude to everyone, ranging from the cleaners, the security guards, the librarians to our dedicated lecturers, for their stanch support over the past four years. I especially want to thank my parents, who constantly helped me to overcome all the challenges that faced me during my four years. I will continue to work hard for even better results in the future.”
