The students then visited the Electronics Lab and learned about digital technology, electronic circuits, CDIO 1 components and their assembly.

In the Electrical Machinery lab, they were shown transformers, electric transmission devices, industrial sensors and circuits. Then some unique DTU products were demonstrated, including a robot restaurant waitress, a hand-washing device, with instructions and the NAO robot. They also visited the Silver Swallows Studio and the MedSim application at the Center of Visualization & Simulation - CVS.

Nguyen Trung Nghia from the Tran Phu High school said: “We already knew about DTU through its websites and social media. Today, we came here, met with senior students and learned more about DTU academic programs and career opportunities. I think the information I gained from the trip will help me decide which course I should select later.”

The next DTU Innovation Open Day takes place on May 1, with students from the Phan Chu Trinh and Hoa Vang High Schools.
