On January 9th, 2026, DTU signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Asia University (AU), Taiwan. The signing marks an important milestone in DTU’s strategy to strengthen international cooperation in the areas of education, scientific research, and innovation.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Dr. Le Nguyen Bao emphasized: “From the very first time we learned about Asia University, we were deeply impressed by the development vision the institution pursues. What impressed us even more were the tangible achievements Asia University has attained in recent years, particularly its strong position in Taiwan’s university ranking system. We hope that today’s signing ceremony will serve as a starting point for many concrete and effective collaborative activities that attract strong interest and active participation from students.”

Representing the partner institution, Dr. Ming Lang Tseng, Director of the Institute of Innovation and Circular Economy at Asia University, stated: “We are truly impressed by the remarkable progress and achievements that DTU has made. Both universities hold leading positions among private universities in our respective countries, which creates many shared strengths and strong potential for long-term collaboration. Building on its solid foundation in healthcare and medicine, Asia University has expanded into multiple disciplines such as management, law, arts, design, computer science, and engineering. I believe this partnership presents an excellent opportunity for both institutions to jointly develop concrete and sustainable cooperation models that deliver the greatest benefits to students.”

As part of the program, leaders from Duy Tan University and Asia University formally signed the MOU, establishing a collaborative framework for the development of joint research programs, academic and cultural exchanges, the organization of scientific conferences and seminars, as well as other mutually beneficial cooperative activities.

According to the MOU, both parties agreed to promote faculty and student exchanges; develop dual-degree programs; implement joint research projects; co-organize academic conferences and workshops; exchange research materials and publications; facilitate technology transfer and research commercialization; and jointly plan long-term development strategies.
The MOU signing between DTU and Asia University not only expands DTU’s international partnership network but also further affirms its reputation and standing in the ongoing integration of regional and global higher education.
