An Agreement with Vinmec Danang Hospital

On December 2nd DTU and Vinmec Danang Hospital signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to enhance cooperation and improve the quality of education and workforce development in the field of Health Sciences.

Vinmec Da Nang Hospital is the sixth hospital in the Vinmec Health System, officially put into operation in September 2017. With a capacity of 222 beds, it meets the healthcare needs of thousands of patients annually. Vinmec Da Nang Hospital gathers a team of experts, leading doctors, highly qualified, experienced, always wholeheartedly for patients. In addition, the hospital’s modern facilities and state-of-the-art equipment contributes to improving the efficiency of diagnosis and treatment.

At the signing ceremony, the leaders of DTU and Vinmec Da Nang International Hospital reaffirmed their commitment to building a sustainable, long-term partnership based on trust, responsibility, and mutual development.

 

Through this cooperation agreement, DTU and Vinmec Da Nang have agreed to implement various practical activities to enhance the quality of education in Health Sciences programs, including: General Practitioner, International General Practitioner, Doctor of Odonto-Stomatology, Pharmacist, and General Nursing.

 

Accordingly, the two parties have agreed to collaborate closely in many areas, including: Improving the quality of training; Promoting scientific research activities, especially the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in healthcare; Implementing professional practice programs for students; Vinmec’s involvement in teaching and evaluating students’ competencies, and expanding employment opportunities for DTU graduates.

 

The cooperation agreement between DTU and Vinmec Da Nang Hospital is a significant step forward in the strategy to develop a high-quality healthcare workforce. With DTU’s strength in education, combined with Vinmec’s modern and professional practical training environment, the partnership is expected to bring valuable benefits to students, faculty, and the community.
