An in-depth dialogue between teams and experts at the 1-on-1 Mentoring session

The 1-on-1 Mentoring Session was designed as an “in-depth dialogue” between each team and an expert. Each team had the chance to fully present and defend its project while receiving direct analysis, feedback, and suggestions from its mentor.

Project bottlenecks - from business model, market expansion strategy, and target customer positioning to marketing and communication plans – were thoroughly examined, clarified, and “untangled” by the experts. This process helped the teams refine their projects most practically and effectively. The activity not only strengthened the teams’ professional capabilities but also boosted their confidence, hands-on mindset, and resilient entrepreneurial spirit before they enter the showdown.

The experts share valuable knowledge, guidance, and experience to help the top 7

teams become more confident, courageous, and ready to shine in the upcoming finals

As a communications expert, MSc. Tran Thi Le Chi shared: “This year, there are many projects with new and breakthrough ideas that apply modern technologies like AI. However, some teams are still building their communication strategies too theoretically, without thoroughly analyzing each small step, the points where risks can easily arise and directly affect implementation effectiveness. This is exactly what you need to improve. I hope you understand that once you start a business, you must dare to act and dare to face reality. Let’s start with small projects and embrace failure to grow. And execute every plan as if you were investing your own money.”

Within the framework of the program, the mentors helped each team clearly define its target customers, analyze the market and competitors using real data, build competitive communication strategies, adjust business models to match implementation capacity, and practice pitching and presentation skills to make them as engaging and persuasive as possible. Consequently, each team has gained additional “strategic weapons” to finalize their proposal and get ready for a breakthrough in the finals.

With the valuable knowledge, guidance, and experience gained from the mentors, hopefully, the top 7 teams will be confident and resilient, and truly shine in the upcoming finals. Let’s look forward to the next breakthroughs from young DTU students on their entrepreneurial journey!
