DTU Students Win Third Prize at the 2025 National Chinese Language Elogent Contest in Danang

On November 15, the Final Round of the 2025 National Chinese language eloquent contest in Da Nang was co-organized by the Da Nang Union of Friendship Organizations and the Da Nang Vietnam-China Friendship Association, in collaboration with the Consulate General of China in Da Nang, the Vietnam Television Center for the Central Highlands region (VTV8) and Duy Tan University.

The National Chinese language eloquent contest is a vibrant testament to the spirit of integration,

creativity, and the aspirations of DTU students to reach new heights

 

This year’s contest attracted nearly 1,000 contestants/teams from universities, colleges, academies, and language centers nationwide. From these, the Organizing Committee selected the 25 most outstanding contestants/teams for the Final Round - and the DTU team surpassed many strong competitors to win Third Prize.

Three talented students from DTU’s Faculty of Chinese Language - Phan Thi Kim Quy, Vo Thi Tuyet Giang,

and Tran Thi Thu Ha - showcased their confident stage presence and sharp critical thinking

 

Choosing a deeply meaningful topic: “Connecting Vietnam-China Humanistic Values in the Technological Era: A Duy Tan Student Perspective”, three talented students from DTU’s Faculty of Chinese Language - Phan Thi Kim Quy, Vo Thi Tuyet Giang, and Tran Thi Thu Ha - showcased their confident stage presence, sharp critical thinking, and persuasive delivery, impressing the judges and earning the award.


Tran Thi Thu Ha shared: "Previously, I participated in the 'Impression of China' competition organized by the Chinese Language Faculty and the 'Impression of China' event co-organized by the Chinese Consulate General in Da Nang, where I gained valuable experience in presentation. In addition, I learned how to manage my emotions, handle situations flexibly, and convey messages effectively. These foundations were key to helping me achieve a proud result in this contest."

colleges, academies, and language centers nationwide 

 

Three talented students from DTU’s Faculty of Chinese Language, Phan Thi Kim Quy, Vo Thi Tuyet Giang, and Tran Thi Thu Ha, have had exceptional academic achievements and impressive awards in various competitions. For the 2025 National Chinese language eloquent contest in Da Nang, they were deeply dedicated, diligently practicing and researching perspectives that aligned with the contest’s theme.

 

Vo Thi Tuyet Giang shared: “Our team was very passionate about this contest. Our speech topic was ‘Connecting Vietnam-China Humanistic Values in the Technological Era: A Duy Tan Student Perspective.’ What we valued most in our speech was that it reflected the spirit of young people - full of enthusiasm and a desire to connect, share, and become ‘small bridges’ between the two cultures. We participated in the competition with a mindset of exchange, learning, and giving our best for the experience, so we are satisfied and proud of our performance.”

 

The success further affirms the spirit of integration, creativity, and aspiration of DTU students as they pursue knowledge and demonstrate their abilities on both national and international stages.
