An amazing and challenging race called Running Trojans 2025 took place on the morning of October 12, 2025, offering an engaging playground for students of the Troy Program from a collaboration between DTU and Troy University in the US.
The event attracted a large number of students, especially first-year students of DTU class K31, creating a lively atmosphere throughout the campus.
Since early morning, the teams eagerly gathered, took check-in photos, and were ready to embark on the exciting race, full of challenges. The atmosphere during the warm-up was filled with energy, as students in bright red shirts caught the attention of everyone passing by.
Ho Vinh Thinh, a student from class K31QTH, shared with determination: "Our team participates in the event with the spirit of overcoming all the challenges set by the organizers! We have thoroughly prepared in terms of health, knowledge, and team spirit to conquer every checkpoint."
The teams took on various games and challenges, solving questions and decoding clues to discover the next checkpoints of the course. After nearly four hours of nonstop excitement, well-known landmarks of Da Nang-Han Market, Dragon Bridge, APEC Park, and the Da Nang Museum-were successfully "unlocked."
Hoang Thao Uyen, a student from class K31DLK, shared: "I am quite shy about talking to strangers, but when participating in Running Trojans, with the support and encouragement from my teammates, I feel much more confident. This is a playground for students to get to know each other and make new friends."
Running Trojans was more than just a race; it was a journey of connection and affirmation of the Troy student spirit: dynamic, spirited, and full of enthusiasm. With English as the main language throughout, the event also provided a chance for students to showcase their communication and teamwork skills in an international environment.
Not only does Running Trojans bring an exciting experience, but it also helps promote the image of Troy students in Da Nang: youthful, dynamic, and integrated into the local community. Students in bright red shirts appearing at these famous spots created a beautiful impression and spread a positive message about the ADP - where students can learn, experience, and explore Danang in their own way.
