On October 4th, the Startup & Business Entrepreneurship (SBE) Club of DTU students was launched, marking an important step in building a dynamic and innovative startup ecosystem. More than a place for exchange among students passionate about entrepreneurship, the club is an ideal platform for them to develop and hone essential skills for their startup journey.

The SBE Club provides a dynamic space where students can turn their entrepreneurial dreams into reality while connecting with business leaders, startup founders, and the broader entrepreneurial community. It also serves as a platform for building lasting relationships, learning from real-world experiences, and contributing to the growth of the startup ecosystem at DTU.
Right after the launching ceremony, the SBE club hosted its first talk show entitled “Spark Up: Igniting Entrepreneurship”, attracting strong interest and participation from many students. The event gathered distinguished speakers, including:

- Mr. Le Van Day - President of JCI Da Nang 2023, Deputy Director of XB Station
- Ms. Duong Thanh Truc - Project Director at 19 Train - JCI Da Nang

The talk show was specially designed around the three key stages of a startup journey, enabling students not only to learn but also to practice and apply entrepreneurial knowledge effectively. Specifically:
- Stage 1: Foundation - From theory to practice
This stage helped students shape their entrepreneurial mindset, distinguish between different types of enterprises, and take the first steps on their startup journey. Foundational knowledge -from idea generation to development planning- was delivered clearly and comprehensively, creating a solid base for aspiring entrepreneurs.
- Stage 2: Preparation - Startup essentials
In this stage, DTU students had the opportunity to listen to valuable insights from speakers who shared hands-on experience in transforming ideas into viable products. The session equipped students with the right mindset and essential tools to face market challenges, serving as an important stepping stone for future progress.
- Stage 3: Operation - Business Management and Development
This stage focused on business management strategies, from maintaining operations to scaling up. The speakers shared sustainable growth practices, helping students understand how to operate effectively while enhancing leadership and management capabilities during their business development journey.
The launch of the SBE Club, together with the talk show “Spark up: Igniting entrepreneurship”, inspired a large number of DTU students and reaffirmed the university’s commitment to nurturing entrepreneurial talent. With its networking activities and practical support, the SBE Club will certainly become a springboard that helps DTU students unlock their full capabilities, paving the way for future startups and giving them the confidence to become successful entrepreneurs.
