At the exhibition organized by the Ministry of Education & Training, DTUshowcased a wide range of outstanding training and research products, drawing significant attention from Party and state leaders as well as from large numbers of visitors.
Many of the science & technology products have been commercialized and applied to training.
On the morning of August 28, the National Exhibition on Achievements was opened at the Vietnam National Convention & Exhibition Center (Dong Anh, Hanoi), celebrating the 80th installment of national day under the theme “Eighty Years of Independence, Freedom, and Happiness”.

Research achievements from DTU scientists were displayed at the exhibition:
- “eCPR cardiopulmonary resuscitation training device” (winner of the Sao Khue award 2025, patented and commercialized) researched and developed by the DTU Center for Visualization & Simulation (CVS) to train and reinforce first-aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation skills for people of all ages.
- “VTOL unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV): DTU-Falcon-1” researched and manufactured by the DTU Institute of Aeronautical Engineering (IAE) for teaching and research.
- “VIE OMNI AGV cargo transport robot” (first prize at International PBL Expo 2025) created by students and staff of the DTU Center for Mechanical Engineering (CME) to support smart logistics and for automation of material handling in warehouses and in industrial environments
- “Using 3D VR technology to simulate the human body for health science education & research” (first prize in IT at the 2017 Vietnam Talent awards, second place at ASEAN ICT awards) widely put to good use in medicine training.

At the exhibition, visitors could try DTU’s highly interactive products in person:
- “Comprehensive simulation & interaction in smart automotive technology training”: a scientific research project by DTU’s CVS.
- “Hoi An Kien Su” using VR headsets.
- VN Racing Game.
The First Swallows: a historical documentary recreating the battle between the Vietnam People’s Air Force and the US Air Force & Navy at Thanh Hoa bridge on April 4, 1965. The film was produced by the DTU Silver Swallows Studio (SSS) and was previously released in cinemas.

“During the National Exhibition on Achievements, DTU’s booth attracted interest from a great many visitors, and especially from young people,” MA Nguyen Thi Lan Anh, Head of Fashion at the DTU Faculty of Applied Arts, explained.
“They investigated the robots and experienced IoT and 3D virtual reality technologies with fascination. From this exhibition, not only institutions and scientists with products on display but also the general public could be proud of the nation’s strength in many aspects: military, economy, culture, and a glorious historical tradition.”
DTU: over thirty years of development
Founded on November 11, 1994, DTU was one of the first private universities in Central Vietnam. In 2019, the university was awarded a first-class Labor Medal. On October 7, 2024, the government issued decision nr. 1115/QÐ-TTg officially upgrading DTU’s administrative status.
Over more than thirty years of development, DTU has become a prominent and exemplary institution in both domestic and international education. It is ranked the world’s 482nd best university for 2026 and is placed among the 100+ best universities in Asia for 2025, according to QS Rankings.

DTU has international collaborations going from the US, Canada, the UK, and Germany to Japan, South Korea and China. The university currently offers six programs that were accredited by the American Board of Engineering & Technology (ABET), making it one of the two universities with most ABET-accredited programs in Vietnam. Two Hospitality programs were certified by UNWTO.TedQual of the United Nations, further affirming the school’s strong position in Vietnamese education.
Nearly 95% of DTU graduates secure employment within six months after graduation. Students of Architecture, Construction, IT, Food Technology, and Environmental Sciences in particular consistently achieve high employment rates.
