On August 27, 2025, at Building F, 120 Hoang Minh Thao campus, the DTU Faculty of Applied Arts held a fashion show to present the final project of the FSH 345 course - Children’s Fashion Design. The event attracted a large number of lecturers, students, and fashion enthusiasts.

Children’s fashion designs captivate a wide audience
With the theme "Children’s Fashion," the show provided a space for DTU Fashion Design students to showcase their creativity and practical design skills after a semester of hard work and artistic effort.
Twenty-three designs by twenty-three students were divided into five thematic groups: street style, lolita, ethnic, tradition, and impression. The outfits were inspired by various elements, from nature, plants, and animals to traditional culture and Vietnamese handicrafts, such as Bat Trang ceramics, weaving, and bamboo crafts.

Impressive designs across various themes
Under the guidance of Master Nguyen Thanh Binh, the students went through all the necessary steps, including idea research, material selection, sketching, cutting, sewing, and finalizing the product. The stage became even more dazzling as the young models confidently strutted in the unique designs, creating an atmosphere that was both innocent and creative, filled with aesthetic appeal.
Dr. Bui Mai Trinh, Lecturer at the DTU Faculty of Applied Arts, highly praised the students' attention to materials, sustainable fashion elements, and multifunctionality in children's fashion design. She emphasized that the show not only marked the conclusion of the course but also opened up a new direction, encouraging students to step out of their comfort zones and pursue a humane, creative, and sustainable design style.

The Jury's comments on the collections
Speaking at the event, MSc. Nguyen Thi Suong, Deputy Head of the Fashion Design Department, stated: "The show not only marks the students' growth after a semester but also serves as a stepping stone for future projects and collections. The number of students pursuing Fashion Design at DTU is increasing, reflecting the growing appeal of the field and the vast opportunities in the fashion industry. Therefore, each student must nurture their passion, dedicate time and effort to future projects, and establish their own unique mark."
