On August 19, 2025, DTU and Politeknik Negeri Bandung (Indonesia) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), paving the way for strong collaboration aimed at providing students from both institutions with greater opportunities for learning and career development in a globalized environment.

Representative of Politeknik Negeri Bandung, Dr. Nono Wibisono expressed: “I am very pleased to have the opportunity to visit Da Nang today and, in particular, to collaborate with Duy Tan University to improve the quality of education and provide the best learning opportunities for students. Politeknik Negeri Bandung is a public university in Indonesia, currently attracting a large number of students. The university focuses on training in the fields of Engineering, Technology, Business, and Language. We believe that this partnership will bring many opportunities for students from both institutions to study and and pursue holistic development in the near future.”
Politeknik Negeri Bandung is recognized as a prestigious public polytechnic in Indonesia, ranked 2nd among all polytechnic institutions nationwide since 2019. Globally, it was placed 1,032nd in the 2024 UI GreenMetric Rankings. Politeknik Negeri Bandung separated from Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) in 1997. ITB itself was ranked 281st globally in the 2024 QS World University Rankings.

With its large student enrollment, Politeknik Negeri Bandung focuses on the training in Engineering, Technology, Business, and Languages. By collaborating with businesses, the institution has ensured that its graduates are well-prepared to adapt quickly and meet the demands of both domestic and international labor markets.
Accordingly, DTU and Politeknik Negeri Bandung jointly implement key collaborative initiatives, including:
- Student exchanges to foster academic growth and cross-cultural understanding;
- Joint projects and scientific research for learners to co-develop studies and innovations;
- Enhancing educational quality through stronger connections with industry and business networks.
DTU Provost Dr. Le Nguyen Bao said: “Politeknik Negeri Bandung has great strengths in the fields of Engineering and Business education in Indonesia. These are also key areas among many others that DTU is focusing on, such as Information Technology, Health Sciences, and Tourism. Every collaboration opens up opportunities for learning and sharing valuable experiences, while also providing a solid foundation for educational institutions to work together to improve the quality of training and promote scientific research within the student community. With an open spirit of cooperation, I believe that we will apply many practical and effective solutions, providing maximum support for students' comprehensive development.”
The MOU signing between DTU and Politeknik Negeri Bandung also affirms the commitment of the two institutions in expanding the international partnership network, providing students with many opportunities to study and develop their careers in the future.
