The "Incheon Education Festival, South Korea", a fascinating cultural exchange between students of the Korean Language Faculty, the School of Language, Humanities & Social Sciences, Duy Tan University (LHSS - DTU), and students from the East Asia International Education Institute, Incheon, took place at DTU on August 6th, 2025. The event, running from August 6-7, 2025, provided DTU students with great opportunity to engage with and experience Korean culture in a lively and practical way.

The ceremony was attended by Mr. Kim Joo Yong, Head of Department of Multilingual Education, East Asia International Education Institute; Mrs. Han Ji Hee, a teacher in charge at the East Asia International Education Institute, Mrs. Eom Mi Young, Specialist at Incheon City Department of Education and the Korean Language Center in Ho Chi Minh City, and Dr. Dang Thuy Lien, Vice Dean of the School of Language, Humanities & Social Sciences, Dr. Tran Thi Van, Head of the Korean Language Faculty, along with lecturers and numerous students from the DTU Korean Language Faculty.

Dr. Dang Thuy Lien shared: “Today’s meeting is of great significance. It’s not only an opportunity to promote cooperation between the Korean Language Faculty, the School of Language, Humanities & Social Sciences, Duy Tan University, and the Educational Institutions under the Ministry of Education of South Korea but also a chance for our students to explore and learn about Korean culture, which is extremely valuable and meaningful in their language learning process."
Dr. Dang Thuy Lien also expressed a desire for continued support, collaboration, and partnership from South Korean partners in education programs, cultural exchanges, and high-quality human resource training.

As part of the program, students participated in five experiential classes with unique themes: K-POP, K-DRAMA, K-DANCE, K-FOOD, and K-BEAUTY, guided directly by Korean instructors.
Huynh Thi Hong Them, a student from the Korean Language Faculty, shared: "We are so happy to participate in this cultural exchange program, where we could explore and experience the best aspects of Korean culture through these five fascinating classes. It’s not only a chance to learn more about the beautiful country of Korea but also an opportunity to connect, share, and learn from each other. With the careful preparation by the organizers, the enthusiasm of the instructors, and the students, the program has truly left beautiful memories in the hearts of all participants."

The event not only provided a great cultural playground for students in the Korean Language program but also contributed to enhancing the quality of Korean language education at Duy Tan University. Additionally, it opened up many opportunities for deeper cooperation in the fields of education and cultural exchange between Vietnam and South Korea.
