


DTU offers Tourism and Hospitality programs that have received UNWTO.TedQual accreditation, a prestigious certification from the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) that ensures the quality of tourism education.
Two of Duy Tan University’s programs - International Hotel Management and International Restaurant Management - have been certified, meeting 91.2% of all criteria with a high evaluation score of 771/845 points.

This is the same international accreditation used by The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, the world’s top-ranked university in tourism and hospitality, to assess its training programs. This institution also directly supported and advised DTU throughout the process of achieving this recognition. UNWTO.TedQual is widely seen as the "AACSB equivalent" in the field of tourism.
For years, DTU Tourism students have benefited from curricula imported from Pennsylvania State University (PSU) - one of the top 50 U.S. business schools (according to U.S. News 2024) and one of the top 5 tourism schools globally (according to UNWTO). The PSU-standard programs include:

- PSU-standard Restaurant Management

Thanks to this high-quality learning environment, many DTU students have successfully entered the global job market.
Nguyen Ba Quang Huy, an outstanding student from Class K-24 majoring in Tourism and Hospitality Management at TU’s HTi School of Tourism, was recently recruited into the cabin crew of Emirates Airlines, a world-renowned airline. He now operates international routes to Australia, the UK, and many other countries.

His journey from DTU ’s lecture halls to the Emirates fleet is a testament to the value of choosing the right university to develop essential skills, improve English proficiency, and gain multicultural awareness in pursuit of big dreams.

After a memorable exchange semester at DTU in 2024, Antonia Franziska Kahlitz from Duale Hochschule Baden-Württemberg (DHBW) in southern Germany shared high praise for Duy Tan's tourism and management programs. DTU actively promotes year-round international student exchange, including:
• 59 students from Sun Moon University (Korea) joined the "Green Steps" program at DTU in 2023 and 2024.
• 33 students from Singapore Polytechnic joined the Learning Express 2023 academic journey at DTU.
• 30 students from Sun Moon University attended the 2023 Winter Semester exchange.
• 22 students from Queensland University of Technology (QUT, Australia) participated in a cultural exchange in 2024.
• 24 students from Incheon National University (Korea) participated in research projects in 2024.
• 130 students from the UK, Scotland, Singapore, Cambodia, Australia, etc., joined the INCITE Summer School 2024.
• Over 1,000 students from Southeast Asia (Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, etc.) under Passage to ASEAN (P2A) participated in cultural exchange programs at DTU in 2023 and 2024.
• Over 50 Korean students visited DTU for cultural exchange and performance activities in 2023-2024.
• Additional students from Japan, Korea, Nepal, India, Germany, France, Poland, the U.S., and more have come to DTU for exchange semesters, research internships, or postdoc projects.
