The SCImago Institutions Rankings organization (headquartered in Spain) has just released the results of the 2025 global research institutions ranking, which includes research institutes and universities worldwide.
According to SCImago 2025, universities and research institutes worldwide are ranked based on three criteria: Research (50%), Innovation (30%), and Societal Impact (20%). Vietnam has 53 universities and research institutes ranked this time.
