A Practical step
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Professor Dr. Koh Chang-seop, CBNU Provost, stated, "In 2024, we officially launched our core research program, and we currently have 7 research groups actively working on it.
I believe these research groups will soon achieve great successes, and this year I hope to expand this program even further. I am also particularly focused on developing the student exchange program with DTU.
DTU has young and talented students, and we also have many young students who are truly passionate about learning and scientific research at CBNU.
I am confident that we need to create a solid bridge that provides both universities' students with opportunities to interact, learn, and grow together. This wonderful opportunity will help boost international cooperation between students from both universities."
DTU and CBNU sign Research Cooperation Agreement and establish the "CBNU Global Center" at DTU. This practical step will further strengthen the cooperation between the two institutions, working together towards sustainable development goals in the future.
According to the signed Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between DTU and CBNU, both parties are committed to carrying out key activities, including:
- Collaborating to develop plans and tasks for joint research projects and proposing key areas for cooperation;
- Exchanging information and closely coordinating the organization of academic workshops and research activities;
- Supporting the management and operation of the "CBNU Global Center" at DTU;
- Selecting students and supporting the 3+2 Linked Bachelor's-Master's Degree Program and the G-Cruit Program;
- Assisting DTU students who wish to study abroad at CBNU and developing programs in Korean Language Studies, etc.

A Start for many Exchange programs
Dr. Le Nguyen Bao, DTU Provost, said: "In a short period, many collaborative projects between DTU and CBNU have been implemented and achieved significant results.
Just last month, many DTU students had the opportunity to study in South Korea for a master's degree, benefiting from the Korean Government's scholarships, or to participate in student exchange programs. Recently, we have also witnessed the successful implementation of research collaboration projects between CBNU and DTU University.
While we may organize numerous exchange programs between many universities, research collaboration requires a close relationship, not only between researchers but also between the leadership of the universities. Therefore, I would like to express my sincere thanks to all those who have contributed valuable support.
Today's signing ceremony not only marks the achievements of the cooperation between the two universities but also opens an important new chapter, with the establishment of the 'CBNU Global Center' right here at DTU.
I believe this will be the beginning of many exchange programs, research projects, and broader academic cooperation between the two institutions."

Among the 21 students who went to South Korea, there are:
- 8 students enrolled in the CBNU G-Cruit Program and the 3+2 Linked Bachelor's-Master's Degree Program at CBNU.
- 11 DTU students attended the Student Exchange Program (study for one year and transfer credits for corresponding courses between the two universities) at prestigious universities in South Korea, such as CBNU, Kyung Hee University, Sejong University, and Dong-A University, and
- 2 students awarded the Global Korea Scholarship (full scholarship provided by the Korean government for international students wishing to study at top universities and research institutes in South Korea).
