The New York Classical Music Society (NYCMS), a non-profit organization, was founded in 2004, which quickly became one of the world’s leading organizations in introducing outstanding classical music artists to international audiences. Each year, more concerts organized by the New York Classical Music Society are held in major cities around the world such as New York, London, Seoul, Paris, Hanoi, Da Nang, and more. This is the sixth time NYCMS has organized a concert in Vietnam and the second time it has returned to DTU. This event once again affirms the growing connection between international classical music and the music-loving community in Da Nang.

For DTU, the concert contributed to the goal of hosting 10 music programs annually, providing students and faculty the opportunity to enjoy classical and chamber music. Most recently, the Da Nang International Guitar Festival, was also held at DTU.
