On April 10, 2025, DTU welcomed a delegation from the Thanh Hoa City Business Association for a visit and work meeting. The meeting was important as a step towards more comprehensive collaboration between the university and the business community in the Thanh Hoa region, which is rich in traditional culture and which aspires towards growth in this era of integration.

The meeting was attended by DTU Vice Director Dr Nguyen Huu Phu, Thanh Hoa City Business Association Chairman Dr Nguyen Van Thanh, the Association’s vice chairpersons, and over thirty business leaders from various industries in Thanh Hoa.
Speaking at the meeting, DTU Vice Director Dr Nguyen Huu Phu emphasized the importance of supporting students throughout their studies and comprehensive development. “At DTU, students are at the heart of all our educational and developmental efforts,” he said. “We focus not only on providing them with specialized knowledge but also on building a dynamic and modern learning environment where they can maximize their potential. The practical support from the Thanh Hoa City Business Association will expand internship and employment opportunities for students and provide them with career guidance - especially to those from Thanh Hoa. This will be a powerful motivation for them to have peace of mind in their studies, nurture their dreams, and grow to positively contribute to their hometown and their country.”

In a warm and open atmosphere, the two sides discussed various practical topics related to strengthening the connection between university and business - particularly aligning education with real-world needs. DTU representatives provided an overview of the school’s establishment and growth, and of notable achievements in education, scientific research, and corporate partnerships. The university also reaffirmed its commitment to being there for its students on their journey of learning and personal development.
The leaders of the Thanh Hoa City Business Association highlighted the development potential of the local business community, the demand for high-quality human resources, and their desire to forge closer ties with reputable educational institutions. The association also expressed a wish to create favorable conditions for students from Thanh Hoa currently studying at DTU to do internships, find jobs, and contribute after graduation.
