On March 13th the Grand Finale of Rank B - Manufacturing Extended of the DTU ERPsim League 2025 took place, bringing together the best teams. In a real-world business simulation environment, the teams competed to showcase their strategic thinking and comprehensive business management skills through each intense round of the competition.
Team 009 - Iron Alliance
Rank B kicked off with 14 teams advancing from Rank C, competing in three rounds following the Swiss format, allowing teams more opportunities to compete without the risk of early elimination. After intense competition, the 8 best teams secured their spots in the Rank B Final. Additionally, the Organizing Committee introduced Round 4 - the Promotion round, providing an opportunity for lower-ranked teams to continue competing for a spot in Rank A of the DTU ERPsim League 2025.
The Jury
In the Rank B Final, 8 teams competed in two challenging sessions:
The First 1: Business Simulation with the Manufacturing Game - the teams were tasked with managing a virtual company that produced 12 different types of breakfast cereal boxes (e.g., Muesli) for the German market. Starting with no inventory, the teams had to complete the entire business cycle from production to distribution, while efficiently operating across three main channels: Hypermarket (DC14), Grocery Chains, and Independent Stores (DC10). By adjusting product formulas and optimizing production capacity, the teams had to make quick strategic decisions to achieve the highest business performance. Flexibility and sharp strategic thinking were key to success.
Session 2: Business strategy presentation. After the simulation, the teams continued to impress the Jury with their business strategy presentations in English. The presentation covered market analysis, financial management, performance evaluation, and proposed strategies for operating a sustainable business. Additionally, the debate between the teams and the Jury was lively, demonstrating the teams' thorough preparation and deep understanding of ERP management models in real-world business scenarios.
After a day of intense competition, the Jury announced the final results:

- Third prize: Team BabyFive
- Consolation prize: Team Dream Team and T - 1 Corporation
- Most Impressive Presentation Award: Team 009 - Iron Alliance
Previously, the Rank C Final was successfully held on February 24, 2025. The Rank A Final, the highest and most anticipated level of the competition, takes place in April 2025, promising even more exciting matches.
