On March 1, 2025, the DTU Women's Association Congress officially took place at 3 Quang Trung, in a warm and solemn atmosphere, gathering a large number of female staff, faculty, and employees of the university. This significant event aimed to recognize the tremendous contributions of women in the field of education, while also serving as an opportunity to connect, share, and reaffirm the role of women in the overall development of the university and society.

Labor Hero and Distinguished Teacher Le Cong Co gave an emotional speech about the role of Vietnamese women: "Women are the backbone of the family and society, playing an incredibly important role in the mission of building and protecting the country. It is they who give birth to generations of heroes, the resilient children who protect the Fatherland. In the field of education, women also play a vital role. DTU female lecturers contribute significantly to building a strong DTU, training outstanding generations of students, and asserting DTU's position in the Vietnamese higher education system."

Emphasizing the role of the DTU Women's Association, Dr. Le Nguyen Tue Hang, DTU Vice - President, shared: "Starting with many practical activities for women since 2015 and officially founded in 2017, the DTU Women's Association is where female staff, faculty, and employees always share, connect, and encourage each other in both work and life. Over the course of its development, the association has helped create a friendly, equal, and professional working environment, enabling its members to enhance their abilities, improve professional quality, and serve as a symbol of the spirit, intellect, and dedication of the women’s association."

Since its establishment in 2017, the Women's Association has organized many meaningful community activities, including the program "Together to Clean the Son Tra Beach - Protecting the Ecosystem," which raises awareness about environmental protection and promotes a sustainable green lifestyle; delivering Christmas gifts to children with serious illnesses to boost their strength in fighting disease; organizing food donation programs to support students facing difficulties during the COVID-19 pandemic; and visiting families of soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the safety of the community during the pandemic.
Additionally, the Women's Association continuously organizes scientific and professional support activities, national scientific workshops, seminars, and sessions on nutrition, health care, along with many meaningful social events.
These lively activities of the DTU Women’s Association not only enhance professional knowledge but also help members maintain a healthy lifestyle and balance between work and life.

As part of the congress, a seminar titled "Modern Healthcare" was chaired by MSc. Phung Thi Huong Hanh, Director of the Population and Family Planning Office of Da Nang City, which provided valuable and practical knowledge about women's health care in today’s context. With its in-depth yet accessible and engaging content, the seminar helped raise awareness about solutions to protect and improve health, contributing to building a strong and happy community of women.
