“Recruitment, training, and in-person career orientation are extremely important and useful for students,” Ms Duong Thi Bich Thuy, Deputy Director of Sacombank Song Han branch, said at the event. “Through this program, students can obtain practical career information from businesses, meet and exchange in person with recruiters, and accumulate useful experience which you’ll be able to build on when starting a real job.
“Understanding students’ concerns about knowledge and practical experience, Sacombank organizes the program ‘Potential Intern’ every year to give students in economics, law, and information technology a chance to get a taste of real work, receive training, and get experience in the professional work environment at Sacombank. We’re furthermore committed to officially recruit students with sufficient qualities and abilities at the end of the internship, before they graduate.”
Sacombank staff personally interviewed DTU students taking part in the 2025 Sacombank Potential Intern program
With its motto “Accompanying development”, Sacombank is a pioneer of community and social development. In particular, the bank always pays special interest to joining hands with educational institutions and helping build a specialized workforce for society. Its roadmap for cooperation with educational institutions starts when students first set foot in the university buildings and continues until they complete their studies. Of note are: Sacombank’s “Nurturing Dreams” scholarships, observation tour of Sacombank, Sacombank Potential Intern, and many other yearly cooperative activities.
At the event, the people from Sacombank informed the DTU students on “How ‘valuable’ are you?” The program helped the students “determine their prices” by developing important skills like creativity, critical thinking, and positive thinking.
The people from Sacombank gave a lot of information about the internee job title, training content, and perks when becoming a Sacombank Potential Intern, in addition to specific career advice, suitable positions at the bank, etc. They also answered all of the DTU students’ questions.
With their dynamism, their flexible application of knowledge and skills learned in the classroom to their jobs, and their proactively obtaining guidance from businesses, DTU students will certainly acquire all the equipment they will need to be more confident when entering a real work environment.
