High-quality partnerships provide DTU students with opportunities to study and secure top job positions.

International collaborations stretching from the US, Canada, the UK, and Germany to Japan, South Korea, and beyond have led to concrete results and fostered sustainable partnerships with many of the world’s leading companies.  Notably, the university has partnered with Samsung to develop high-tech human resources for Vietnam and the world. Samsung has established two computer labs at DTU to facilitate training in Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Big Data.

Also, the university partnered with Troy University (USA) to offer the ADP (American Degree Program), allowing students to earn a U.S. degree while studying at DT. Partnerships with Carnegie Mellon University, Pennsylvania State University, California State University Fullerton, Cal Poly San Luis Obispo (CSU - CalState), and Purdue University bring advanced, international programs in fields such as Information Technology, Business Administration, Tourism, Construction, Architecture, Electrical-Electronics, and Mechatronics to DTU. The university also works with Hue University, Hue Central Hospital, Danang Hospital, and a whole lot of universities in various countries that are big in the health sciences, such as the University of Pittsburgh (UPitt), the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC), and Duke–NUS Medical School (Singapore), to offer training in those special disciplines that are the health sciences.

DTU students have the opportunity to learn with a highly qualified faculty, including professors, associate professors, and Ph.D. holders and access to some of the most advanced facilities in Central Vietnam. This has significantly enhanced the quality of training. DTU has achieved ABET accreditation for four programs in Information Technology and Electrical-Electronics and UNWTO.TedQual certification for two programs in International Restaurant and Hotel Management within the Tourism field.

Besides its educational activities, DTU’s scientific research efforts have been making significant strides, with many achievements by Vietnamese scientists who have earned Ph.D.s from prestigious global universities, as well as international scientists working directly at the university. DTU has two scientists recognized with high rankings on global lists: Dr. Hoang Nhat Duc and Dr. Tran Nguyen Hai. They are among the five Vietnamese scientists acknowledged in the "Best Rising Stars of Science in the World 2024 Ranking" and are also listed among world’s top 10,000 most cited scientists according to Elsevier.

These accolades underscore Duy Tan University's commitment to fostering a robust research environment and its dedication to contributing to the global scientific community.

30 Years of Supporting Needy Students

For the past 30 years, DTU has supported and encouraged students to overcome challenges in their pursuit of education by offering them with valuable scholarships. For example, in the 2024 National High School Graduation Exam, Le Van Quyen, whose father has cancer and is blind in one eye and whose mother suffers from kidney failure, achieved the highest entrance score to DTU with 28.79 points. Choosing to study both Tourism and Fashion Design, Quyen has worked hard to excel in his studies. He received a full scholarship from DTU for the next four years, bringing him closer to his dream of establishing his own service and fashion brand in the future.

DTU lecturers and staff win many awards at home and abroad

Every admissions season, DTU awards a lot of full and partial scholarships, “Tiep suc den Truong” scholarships, and various other scholarships to newly admitted students, amounting to tens of billions of VND. In 2024, the university granted over 20.5 billion VND in scholarships to students at the New Academic Year Opening Ceremony.

A representative from DTU shared that the initial recognition from society has brought a strong sense of confidence, encouraging faculty and students to continue striving even harder in the journey ahead. “Although challenges remain, they only serve to affirm the capability, resilience, and unwavering commitment of DTU to nurturing future generations of well-rounded students,” the representative remarked.
