Always proactive in seeking new knowledge and technologies, as well as managing his time effectively, Nguyen Nhat Huy is studying Software Technology (CMU standard) at the DTU International School (IS). He consistently excels in his core curriculum while keenly seizing other learning opportunities to accumulate knowledge and enhance his practical experience.

Proving Technological Skills to Earn the International Summer Camp Scholarship
APIE Camp @USK is part of the APIE (Asia Pacific Internet Engineering) program, designed and operated by SOI Asia (School on Internet Asia) in collaboration with APNIC (Asia Pacific Network Information Centre), WIDE Project, and AITAC (Asia Internet Technical Assistance Community). The program aims to support university students and youth in the Asia-Pacific region in learning and developing:
• Knowledge about the Internet,
• Practical Network Operations skills
through hands-on workshops and interactions with industry experts.
APIE Camp @USK 2024 includes numerous activities ranging from basic to advanced topics on Computer Networks and related technologies, featuring participation from students and IT professionals from Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Vietnam, Bangladesh, Nepal, and more, enhancing global networking opportunities for attendees.
Nhat Huy Receives APIE Scholarship for APIE Camp @USK 2024
To secure the scholarship for APIE Camp @USK 2024, Nhat Huy regularly attended E-Workshops organized by APIE, which featured many international speakers and experts in Internet and computer networks. He also completed two online courses:
• “Understanding the Internet,” and
• “Operating the Internet”
to include in his application portfolio. Additionally, his careful preparation and thoroughness in writing the “Letter of Motivation” with clear goals for participating in the program helped him impress the organizing committee, resulting in a full scholarship that covers travel and accommodation expenses for the international summer camp in Indonesia.
Grateful for the support and motivation he received from faculty at the DTU International School (IS), Nhat Huy feels incredibly fortunate: “The DTU instructors are always dedicated and ready to accompany me in my deep exploration of technology and networks. They not only convey knowledge clearly and in detail but are also willing to assist students outside of class, answering any questions and guiding me in my personal projects. Specialized Knowledge and English Proficiency - Key Factors for Success
Born into a family where his father worked as a driver for workers and his mother had a freelance job in An Nhon, Binh Dinh, Nhat Huy understands the hardships his parents faced as they were willing to sacrifice everything to provide the best for their children.
Emotional and heartfelt, Nhat Huy shared: “I always knew that my parents' jobs were very tough and that they didn't have a stable income due to weather conditions and customer demand. Even though we didn’t have a lot of money, my parents always encouraged me to pursue my dream of becoming a skilled engineer and did their best to give me the same educational opportunities as my peers. The love from my family is a tremendous motivation for me to strive every day.”

Nhat Huy has a career development plan in the field of Service Management, particularly in Information Technology and Network Management. Therefore, he has focused on in-depth knowledge of the industry while also striving to improve his English proficiency. • Top 6 projects in the “Over-the-Counter Medication” competition and received high praise from the judges in the Hybrid Mobility in Health Science 2024 program,
