The 23 DTU students participating in the "Cybersecurity Talent Incubator" project (or Blue Rock) have been interviewed and recruited by LLL Company, a cybersecurity enterprise in Japan.
Mr. Ikawa Megumu, Director of LLL Company, expressed his surprise at the exceptional qualities of DTU students and noted that those students were intelligent, quick-witted, persistent, and serious.

Mr. Tanaka Yuto, Director of Fore Company, highlighted the unique aspects of the Blue Rock project, which emphasizes learning a wide array of new concepts, combining study with practical work, and having a high degree of application. He praised the students for their eagerness to learn and their ability to acquire new information. According to him, these technology talents are fully capable of working at major tech companies both domestically and internationally.
At the end of the interview, LLL Company presented the confirmation letters of employment to 23 final-year students from the Blue Rock project.
Launched in 2023, the Blue Rock project was jointly implemented by DTU, Suganuma Corporation and Fore Company (Japan). The two companies have sponsored DTU a cybersecurity lab, including furniture, 20 high-performance computers, 40 monitors, several specialized software programs, a dedicated server, and various other networking equipment. Experts from Fore will also participate in some of the teaching activities for the cybersecurity program.
Japanese company representatives exchange information with DTU students
In the first course, 40 outstanding third and fourth-year students majoring in Network Engineering, Cybersecurity, and Information Security were selected to participate. The 1 - year training program includes the following components: initial knowledge assessment, advanced basic knowledge training, specialized training in network attack and defense skills, CTF (Capture the Flag) competition training, participation in international CTF competitions, and involvement in real-world projects provided by Fore Company.
Students participating in the project receive a scholarship ranging from 400 to 800 USD per month for six months. Subsequently, based on individual performance, Fore Company will select students to continue receiving a salary equivalent to that of a specialist. Upon completing this training, DTU students will receive certification from Fore Company and have the opportunity to work in Japan. The Blue Rock project holders plan to include second and third-year students for the second course.
