On May 23, the Samsung Vietnam Complex, Junior Achievement (JA) Vietnam and DTU jointly held an MoU agreement signing ceremony to renew the Samsung Innovation Campus project from 2022 to 2023 in Danang.

The Samsung Innovation Campus (SIC) is a global ICT education program for ages 14 up to 24, which offers three technology skill development courses, in addition to a course in basic coding & programming skills:
- Internet of Things (IoT),
- Artificial Intelligence (AI),
- Big Data
Mr. Choi Joo Ho, General Director of the Samsung Vietnam Complex, reiterated Samsung's commitment to Vietnam, with the objective of becoming a renowned and respected company here. He added that Samsung operates Asia's leading R&D center in Hanoi, aiming to establish Vietnam as strategic base globally. Since 2019, SIC has been implemented in 33 countries and accumulated 6,000 lecturers and students in Vietnam.
“In the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0, IT education is the key to development worldwide, which is why we want to enable the younger generation to acquire a knowledge of future core technologies, such as programming, a foundation of digital capability, artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, and large database management."

Danang calls for investment from Samsung
In his remarks at the signing ceremony, Chairman of the municipal People's Committee, Le Trung Chinh, said: “Recently Danang has implemented a number of ways of promoting the city’s socio-economic development, by focusing on educating highly qualified professionals and boosting the application of information technology. The city has established several digital transformation programs, in the government, local business and the community. At the same time, we pay special attention to attracting corporate partnerships and creating a favorable investment environment for companies such as Samsung, in order to develop projects that broaden our bilateral development."
