On November 23, DTU and VICAT Global Company Ltd signed a memorandum of understanding, enabling Nursing students to study in Germany. Attendees included DTU and VICAT Global Company Ltd representatives and Nursing students.
VICAT Global Company Ltd provides educational support and study-abroad services, to arrange advanced nursing courses in Germany and to satisfy the strong demand for additional staff at German healthcare facilities.
The signing
The agreement allows DTU Nursing students to learn while continuing to practice, and to attend German language programs and career-orientation sessions. The supply of native German nurses does not meet the demand for patient care and, as a result, the opportunity to work as a nurse there is an attractive, well-paid career path, especially for DTU Nursing students.
Attendees at the signing
DTU and VICAT Global Company Ltd agreed to jointly arrange seminars to inform nursing students about the German overseas-studies market and the GAVIC project is dedicated to college and Nursing graduates.
Participants are fully sponsored to go to Germany to study and work, including free tuition costs, free German courses, free visa fees and free air travel. The agreement strengthens the ability of DTU and VICAT Global Company Ltd to jointly support the German nursing profession.
