DTU students have now adapted to learning and taking exams online since the University shifted completely to a new educational method due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The university has invested substantially to ensure teaching quality and, at the same time, the safety of students and faculty without disruption.

DTU state-of-the-art infrastructure

To service thousands of users remotely at the same time, DTU is constantly upgrading its network infrastructure by:

- Doubling the number of transmission lines and bandwidth
- Installing wide-angle high-resolution cameras in all e-learning classrooms
- Integrating MyDTU, SAKAI, Zoom Cloud Meetings and the DTU Test/Examination services

Nguyen Thanh An, from the School of Medicine and Pharmacy said: “I think learning online at DTU is still highly effective. The university is continuously making modifications and upgrades for system optimization, so studying at home doesn’t impact my education at all."

Nguyen Ba Quang Huy from the Hospitality and Tourism Institute added: "During the pandemic, DTU has conducted all exams online. The ultramodern system can handle up to 20,000 students at once with MyDTU access and I feel comfortable that all my exam results are successfully recorded.”
