In March, DTU has continued to live stream advice on enrollment and education for high school graduates applying in 2001, including information on choosing majors, tuition policies, scholarships and career orientation. Applicants and their parents have their questions answered by dedicated enrollment experts to ensure the most informed choices at the beginning of this new stage in their lives.

The Covid-19 pandemic is still raging worldwide and applicants are concerned about which major to choose under the circumstances. The university’s fan pages at “DTU” and “tuyensinhdtu” receive many questions from high school students every day about the High School Graduation Exam (HSGE), the high-school transcript admissions method and the majors that DTU offers.

Understanding these student and parent concerns, the Enrollment Advisory Board tabulated them, selected the relevant ones and grouped them into the following topics for each of the weekly live stream sessions via the fan DTU fanpage:

The enrollment live-streams have become vital information resource for 12th graders and their parents in their final choice of a university in 2021. Dr. Nguyen Duc Nghia, former Vice-Director of the National University in HCMC
Dr. Nguyen Duc Nghia has been an educator for forty years and was Vice-Director of the National University in HCMC for twenty, Vice-Chairman of the Association of Vietnamese Universities & Colleges, and has been involved in career orientation and enrollment consultancy for several years. He regularly gives similar in-person enrollment advice at high schools in HCMC, Daklak, Gia Lai and Ba Ria-Vung Tau.
Dr. Nguyen Duc Nghia will share the latest enrolment information about enrollment and explain how to enroll and register for the entrance exam, as well as specific information about this year’s new enrollment policies, which allow applicants to change their preferences three times. He will also talk about vital things that applicants must prepare for before the HSGE.
Dr. Vo Thanh Hai, DTU Vice-Provost
Dr. Vo Thanh Hai was a member of the 2019 Steering Committee for the National High School Examination & Regular University and college enrollment for majors in Teacher Training, and also Vice-Chairman of the Steering Committee for the National High School Examinations in Daklak and Binh Dinh from 2017 to 2019.
Dr. Vo Thanh Hai has 18 years of experience in the same type of university enrollment consulting, for Thanh Nien, Tuoi Tre, Nguoi Lao Dong, live local TV broadcasts and at the Student Enrollment Advice & Career Orientation Fair.
In the DTU enrollment advice sessions, Dr. Vo Thanh Hai will share information about enrollment rules in 2021, DTU’s admissions formulae, including the one used in the Competency Assessment Exam held by the National University in HCMC, new DTU enrollment benefits, new majors, career opportunities for each major, advice on which admission formula to apply with and how to best register for their first choices. He will also give information on studying during the Covid-19 pandemic and the online class environment if there are further waves of infection.
