Since its inception, DTU has continued to enhance the quality of education and research in many ways, resulting in ever-increasing national and worldwide academic rankings. To honor this sustained achievement, DTU researchers have been invited to broadcast more information about their work on the VTV1 Good Morning program, from 18.30 to 19.00 on March 13, and on the VTV8 Educational program, from 18:30 to 19:00 on March 16 and from 18.30 to19.00 on March 20.

Some impressive achievements:
DTU has published over 6,000 research papers, including 3,387 in internationally indexed and 111 in international Scopus journals. The university has conducted 6 protocol, 4 ministerial level, 47 Nafosted and 7 provincial projects, as well as 837 student research papers, with 3 patented so far.
- In early February, Quacquarelli Symonds, the renowned UK-based education organization, announced its 2021 list of leading Asian universities. Among the eleven Vietnamese universities listed, Duy Tan University climbed 100 places to enter the top 351-400 grouping and rank fifth in Vietnam.
- The “3D Virtual Reality Imaging Technology Application Simulating the Human Body for Healthcare Study and Research” application won an Excellence award in the 2017 Young Intellectual Contest for Education, a second prize in the ASEAN ICT Awards, a 2018 Sao Khue Software Excellence award and a second in the 2020 Make-in-Vietnam Digital awards.
- “The Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation First Aid Training System - eCPR” was developed based on a combination of 3D virtual reality and IoT technology, with sensors attached to a real-time model, and received a 2020 Sao Khue award.
- The DTU-Vent version 2.0 expands functionality to that of an official medical ventilator and can be used in emergencies and in the treatment of Covid-19 patients.
