DTU announced the minimum 2020 entrance requirements for HSGE and High School Transcript applicants:
The highest-scoring candidate, scoring 27.25, with Dr. Lim Sang Teak, Director of the DTU Hospitality & Tourism Institute
Based on the 2020 High School Graduation Exam
An average score for three subjects of 14, including priority points, excepting:
- Architecture (points for Drawing*2): 15 points
- Pharmacology: 21 points
- General Practitioner: 22 points
- Doctor of Odonto-Stomatology: 22 points
Applicants who are unable to enroll based on their 2020 HSGEs should select the High School Transcript-based admission method instead.
Based on High School Transcripts
For all programs, a high school transcript three-subject score of 18 points
- Architecture: a high school transcript two-subject score of 12, including Drawing *2, when applicants may use Drawing exam results they previously obtained at DTU or other universities
- General Nursing: a high school transcript three-subject score of 19.5, and a high school graduation exam average of 6.5 or more
- Pharmacology/ General Practitioner/ Doctor of Odonto-Stomatology: a high school transcript three-subject score of 24, and a high school graduation exam average of 8.0 or more
Candidates enroll at DTU
Names of programs and majors: Candidates choose majors and enter the codes on their application forms.
Special Scholarship Policy:
Candidates enrolling at DTU in 2020 during the Covid-19 pandemic will be offered Scholarship Vouchers and will pay a reduced first-term tuition fee after deducting that amount. Candidates who come from the provinces Gia Lai, Daklak, Kontum, Daknong, Khanh Hoa, Phu Yen, and Binh Dinh will receive:
-A Scholarship Voucher of 2.5m vnd if they enroll in any study program other than Pharmacology
-A Scholarship Voucher of 2.9m if they enroll in Pharmacology
Candidates who don’t come from the above provinces above will receive:
- A Scholarship Voucher of 2.2m vnd if they enroll in any study program
- A Scholarship Voucher of 3m vnd if they enroll in Construction, Environment, or Architecture
- A Scholarship Voucher of 3m vnd, which will be immediately deducted from their first-term tuition fee and their tuition fee will be also reduced by 1.5m vnd
There are also other scholarship policies, such as full DTU Scholarships, covering 100% of tuition fees for 4 years, Partial Scholarships, covering 50% of tuition fees for 4 years and scholarships for high-scoring applicants.
Candidates who have not yet received the “DTU Offer Letter” should go to the DTU Enrollment Center to apply in person.
