An Exchange with Temasek Polytechnic in Singapore

On November 6, DTU held a cultural exchange with students from Temasek Polytechnic in Singapore, to broaden cooperation and exchanges between the two universities and give DTU students a chance to perfect their English and learn more about another ASEAN country.

Established in 1990, Temasek Polytechnic Singapore educates 14,000 students from several countries, offering 37 full-time diploma courses in Hospitality and Hotel Restaurant Management; Computer Science; IT; Game Design and Development; Pharmaceutical Science; Law and others. 
 
Lecturers and students got to know each other during musical performances and games, and communicated in fluent English whilst discussing the Passage to ASEAN (P2A) project and presenting interesting information on their languages, food and lifestyles.

DTU and Temasek Polytechnic lecturers and students  
 
DTU then took the Temasek Polytechnic representatives to local tourist attractions to familiarize them with the traditional local culture. 
 
The Passage to ASEAN project allows DTU and other universities to broaden partnerships and job opportunities for students and allows students make friends, exchange information and share their experiences with each other.
