A Meeting with Swiss Entrepreneurships

On August 16th, DTU met with the Swiss Entrepreneurship Program to promote startup projects and help create an entrepreneurial ecosystem at the university.

A Swiss - EP Representative talks with Hero of Labor and Distinguished Teacher Le Cong Co
 
DTU and Swiss - EP both gave overviews of their organizations. DTU talked about strategic educational goals, their Startup Center and entrepreneurial ecosystem. Then Swiss - EP introduced themselves and talked about their experience providing specialized consulting services to universities, and their wish to collaborate with DTU.

Truong Tien Vu, DTU Startup Center Director, said: “All universities are striving to incorporate startup activities into their curricula and invest in them heavily. DTU itself is a prime example of a successful startup. Long ago, Hero of Labor and Distinguished Teacher Le Cong Co and his colleagues were the founder members and still attach much importance on teaching Career Orientation and Entrepreneurship courses in all majors. DTU also applies advanced teaching methods to optimally exploit creative thinking and special capabilities.”
 
DTU and Swiss - EP now need to engage in follow-up discussions on an agreement to promote entrepreneurial activities.
 
Swiss EP aims at promoting entrepreneurial activities, enhancing the readiness of innovative entrepreneurs to start orgrow their business as well as to facilitate a supportive ecosystem. The program is financed by the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs.
