Internship Opportunities at LogiGear

On November 4, LogiGear Vietnam and DTU held a seminar to discuss internships and careers in software testing.

LogiGear was the first American-owned software company in Vietnam, the company opened operations in Danang in 2014 and is a proud member of the friendly local IT community.

LogiGear Vietnam partners with the DTU International School to hire about ten IT graduates a year and provide them with specialized training in software testing. The company also holds seminars and awards scholarships. In addition, in 2012, twenty-three students were offered internships and 90% of them were later hired permanently. LogiGear highly respects the students’ English, technological and other expertize, thanks to the international, advanced DTU IT partnership program with Carnegie Mellon University.

DTU students listened to Mr. Tran Quoc Huy, a Software Delivery Manager with 16 years of experience, talking about his career in IT. He recounted several interesting memories and outlined the qualifications required to become a computer programmer, including problem-solving skills. Mr. Huy fully responded to questions from the students, some of whom were then interviewed and tested for prospective internships and jobs.
