An outdoor meeting was held at the DTU Quang Trung campus on September 17th to welcome the new 2017 DTU students. Groups from various faculties participated in activities with the freshmen.

Students engaged in teambuilding activities, including Flashmod dancing, Despacito dancing, karate performances, Miss Xi Trum and so on, creating a hospitable environment to welcome them.

Dr. Vo Thanh Hai, DTU Vice-Provost, said “You K23 students are special because most of you were born in 1999, the last year of the 20th century. You are the foundation of a new generation, about to play a significant role in the development of our country. You are expected to take advantage of your study opportunities, love our nation unconditionally and gain the entrepreneurial spirit to become an outstanding citizen. Meanwhile, I know that you will all make sustained efforts in your studies to help our university realize the Duy Tan Dream, which is to enter the Time Higher Education Top 300 rankings of Asian universities by the year 2022.”
Pham Thi My Duyen from Quang Nam province said: “I am delighted to be here today. It was great fun and provided the energy for us to begin the new school year, boosting our self-confidence and social skills, which are important factors in our studies and in lives in general.”
