On April 16th, the 2017 Danang DevDay was held at the Danang University of Technology and Science. Ten new technology products were announced by DTU.

At the event, Vietnamese and international representatives overviewed the latest news on IT-related technology, management, training programs and start-up business activities.

Several local businesses attended the event to demonstrate their products, including HSBC, Global CyberSoft, DNES, Gameloft and Agility. The ten DTU products on display were Veggreen, which won a second prize at the 2016 Microsoft Imagine Cup, the Multifunction Loudspeaker, an Alarm warning about a shortage of toilet paper, A toilet paper dispenser, a Wireless queuing ticket machine, a Robot that searches for weld defects in ship hulls, a Handheld parking ticket dispenser, a Set of messenger apps for education and a Free, automatic condom dispenser.
Doan Thi Binh, a second year student at the University of Foreign Languages said: “I like the practical applicability of the DTU condom dispenser and Veggreen products. Veggreen meets the local demand for clean vegetables and these products prove our students’ desire to research the creation of useful products for our community.”
