Eureka Awards – Five Projects Implemented in Business

On December 11th, the Vietnam National University and the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union presented the 2016 Eureka Awards for outstanding research. The annual awards aim to encourage students to participate actively in research projects and contribute to the development of our country.

This year, five of the business projects were presented in Ho Chi Minh city, including; “An Automatic Cocktail Mixer” by DTU; “The Effectiveness of Music to Facilitate Primary School Students in Cleaning their Teeth”, by the University of Medicine and Pharmacy in HCMC; “Ways of Improving the Mental Health of a Sexually Abused Child”, by the HCMC University of Pedagogy; “Manufacturing Hollow Concrete Drain Pipes for Sidewalks and Tunnels”, by the HCMC University of Transport, and “A Method of Processing Survey Data to Monitor and Predict Earth Settlement”, by the of Hanoi University of Mining and  Geology. 
 
Nine first, 12 second, 13 third and 51 consolation prizes were awarded, for a total of 300 million vnd.
