On October 14th, DTU Board of Provosts met with representatives of the Hai Chau District Department of Education to discuss training their pupils in preparation for debating contests, which will encourage participants to perfect their English, debating and teamwork skills.
The DTU Debating Club
The has held several contests, with the assistance of foreign lecture staff. The training courses will enhance the debating ability of local high schools, including their critical thinking and presentation skills.
Students rehearse key topics for upcoming debates
Important topics, such as gender equality, the culture of reading, and study methods will be practiced before the training classes. The American DTU Debating Club members, Professor Barabara and Dr. Lukewell, will help train the participants.
