Danang Awards 2016 Computerized Fireworks Competition Prizes

On August 30th, the Danang Department of Information and Communications held the 2016 Computerized Fireworks Competition awards ceremony.

Ông Ð?ng Vi?t Dung - Phó Ch? t?ch UBND TP Ðà N?ng (th? hai, t? trái sang) trao gi?i thu?ng d?n các tác gi?/nhóm tác gi? do?t gi?i Cu?c thi trình di?n pháo hoa trên máy tính Mr. Dang Viet Dung, Vice Chairman of the Danang People’s Committee

The People’s Committee also awarded Certificates of Merit to businesses and organizations with the most outstanding achievements in Information and Communications in 2015.

Tran Dong, a student at Duy Tan University, won third prize with a fireworks display entitled “The Han River City”. A consolation prize went to the team of Nguyen Van Trong, Doan Cong Truc and Phan Xuan Dat for work “A Carp Turning into a Dragon”. No first or second prizes were awarded.

A noteworthy highlight of the contest was that all works conveyed a personal message of love for Danang, with the Han River flowing through its heart. All the displays, whatever they portrayed,  demonstrated the emotions the creators, from both inside and outside the city. Their desire was to honor the magical beauty of the river and city using sparkling firework displays with vibrant colors, conveying their artistic emotions and uplifting the hearts of admirers.

Unfortunately, however, the organizers were disappointed by this year’s lack of advanced technological skills and creativity but the contest achieved its objective. The idea was to improve the awareness of the IT applications now for widespread use in all aspects of our daily lives, to teach students to learn more effectively, to apply software to improve their study techniques and recreational activities, and to contribute with new apps of their own.
